“ I’ve been a regular customer at Guru’s Indian Hakka Cuisine (Formerly Guru’s Chilli Chinese Cuisine) for years now as the taste of the Rice and Noodle dishes specifically is unique and not found in other Indo-Chinese restaurants across the GTA. For the past few years, I’ve noticed that the quality of the dishes has gone down a bit. The vegetables are now less in the Fried Rice compared to what it used to be before. However, the quantity of the dishes has been good and consistent from the beginning. I normally order Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Hakka Noodles, Vegetable Manchurian (Gravy) & Spicy Crispy Vegetables. Ordered the same items this time and wasn’t quite happy. The Spicy Crispy Vegetables was a disappointment as the vegetables were dry and not crispy. They lacked the spicy flavour as well. The Vegetable Fried Rice and Vegetable Hakka Noodles were okay this time and missing the extra flavour this time. The Vegetable Manchurian was also okay in taste but had less gravy this time. The prices of the food at this restaurant have gone up in the last two years and more compared to other Hakka Chinese restaurants for the same dishes. ”
